General

For those looking for the traditional sound and iconic looks of a dreadnought western guitar, there is the Sigma Guitars SDR-1! This model pays homage to the most influential western guitar shape. What really sets this Sigma apart is its all-solid wood construction, also known as 'all-solid'. The combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood sides and back, creates a powerful and deeply resonant sound with plenty of projection. Solid construction is crucial for that true western sound. From the first moment you hold the SDR-1 in your hands, you immediately feel that this is a premium instrument. But the high-quality woods also guarantee that the guitar will develop over time and only sound better!

Playing comfort meets heritage

Besides the warm sound, Sigma has also paid careful attention to the playability of the SDR-1. In doing so, the historic dreadnought construction philosophy is central. The dreadnought, originally developed by Martin Guitars, became famous for its robust shape, but the builders knew that the instrument should also feel comfortable in the hand. This feeling is replicated in the SDR-1. The comfortably playable low-profile mahogany neck and micarta fingerboard guarantee a smooth, premium playing experience. The Sigma Guitars SDR-1 provides you with a fine all-rounder western guitar and the warm, familiar sound that only an all-solid dreadnought can offer!

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
