General

The Herald AS144 violin is a full-sized 4/4 model. Built for fully-grown students, this violin bears fully-grown sound shaped by a soundboard carved from one piece of spruce. The sides and back, meanwhile, have been made from one solid piece of maple to match the maple neck and bridge and a black mahogany fingerboard completes the picture. The Herald AS144 violin comes finished in high-gloss varnish and includes a bow and soft-case.

Ik heb weinig tot geen verstand van violen. Echter is duidelijk te zien dat deze viool van hele lage kwaliteit is. Dit is natuurlijk te verwachten voor deze prijs, maar ik had niet verwacht dat de kwaliteit zo laag zou zijn.

Een leuke viool voor een prettige prijs. Compleet geleverd met strijkstok en hars in een mooi etui. Het instrument moest wel een week acclimatiseren voordat het redelijk op stemming bleef.
Ideaal instrument om uit te proberen of viool spelen wel iets voor je is.
