General
Behringer already jumped on the wireless bandwagon with their release of the B112D Wireless, and now they're fine-tuning their wares with the Eurolive B112W active speaker with Bluetooth. What that means for you, is no more pesky cables, even when you're playing music from your smart phone, iPad or other Bluetooth device. That, in combination with a powerful 1,000W class D bi-amplification module, makes this a very, very attractive speaker.
The Connections and Options of the B112W
The B112W has a number of different connection possibilities on board, including two regular inputs that are suited for microphone and line signal. Each of these are equipped with a volume control. The Eurolive B112W is also fully wireless-ready, with additional connections for the optional ULM wireless microphones by Behringer. This allows you to easily expand your system so you can take on just about any live sound situation! Furthermore, the Stereo Link function of the Bluetooth section allows you to do it all in stereo, if you're using two speakers.
1,000 Watts of Power
This 12-inch active wireless speaker is equipped with a powerful 12-inch woofer, which lends itself particularly well to speech and vocals. It also has a 1.35-inch driver with a large plastic horn construction, which is responsible for the trebles, and which also keeps the speaker compact and lightweight. In fact, as the B112W weighs in at only 14.5 kg, it's remarkably lightweight for its class. Even more weight is saved by the digital class D amp module, which delivers an attractive 1,000 watts of power.
