General

With a 2x 280-Watt peak power capacity, a class-D amp and a built-in 4-channel mixer, the LD Systems MIX 6 A G3 active two-way speaker system is a great set for PA or monitoring applications. The speaker cab is made of strong MDF and has been fitted with two 16-mm pole mounts for either horizontal or vertical placement. The bass reflex speaker has 6.5" woofer and a 1" tweeter and boasts a 80 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response.

The LD Systems MIX 6 A G3

You won't quickly come up short on connectors with this system. The built-in mixer of the MIX 6 A G3 allows you to hook up electronic instruments, smartphones, tablets and MP3 and CD players. On the control panel side, you'll find 3 XLR/jack combo inputs, a mini-jack line input and an RCA input, as well as sixteen 24-bit effects, individual channel EQ and 15V phantom power. Even the Master sound can be equalised.

Passive Speakers

If a single speaker isn't enough, you can effortlessly expand the MIX 6 A G3 by combining it with the passive MIX 6 G3 speaker via the 'Speaker Out' with 4-Ohm resistance. Other features include indicator LEDs, a limiter, overload and short-circuiting protection, thermal protection, a monitor output and a recording output.

Très bonne petite enceinte, pensez à faire un rodage (moi j'en suis à 10h et j'entends déjà de meilleur basse qu aux départ, et je compte faire sur 50 h en moyenne, sinon cette enceinte est de très bonne qualité de fabrication, couplé avec une pédale tc helicon acoustique ,le son est nette et précis et dynamique, pour petite prestation ou entraînement a la maison guitare acoustique et voix , bien meilleur que certains ampli acoustique quond paye à des prix exorbitant. On peut faire confiance à LD SYSTEME,je la compare à la marque AUDIOPHONY .

Wrote the following about LD Systems MIX 6 A G3 Two-Way Active Speaker

Heb deze luidspreker met ingebouwde mixer en versterker besteld met de volgende doelen:
- als DJ monitor (hoge SPL 122 dB @ 1 meter)
- als monitorspeaker ter voorbereiding (LD systems is immers een gerenommeerd merk)
- extra microfoon aansluitingen

Als mobile DJ kan ik soms meer microfoonkanalen gebruiken en dit apparaat biedt 3 extra microfoon ingangen welke via record out (RCA) of via monitor out (jack) op mijn DJ mixer aan te sluiten zijn. Verder ziet het er robuust gebouwd uit, is niet al te zwaar en heeft een gunstige prijs.
Het leek de ideale oplossing voor wat ik zoek. Wat echter tegen valt is de klank, alles klinkt veel te warm. Met de ingebouwde EQ krijg ik het geluid niet zoals ik het graag wil hebben. Het klinkt alsof de Qtc te hoog is. Dat wordt veroorzaakt door een kast die te klein is voor de woofer (heb veel luidsprekers gebouwd). Mogelijk dat de passieve versie, de LD Systems Mix 6 G3, beter klinkt omdat daar geen voeding, versterker en mixer in zit. Hierdoor heeft de woofer meer ruimte.
Ik denk dat dit een prima monitorluidspreker is voor een vocalist die het prettig vindt zichzelf warm te horen klinken. Als je een neutraal geluid wilt, dan zou ik deze monitorspeaker niet kopen. Ik heb deze speaker geretourneerd en ga op zoek naar een andere oplossing.
Ik denk overigens dat de opgegeven SPL waarde een typefout is. Met het opgegeven piekvermogen van 180W zou de luidspreker een rendement moeten hebben van 99,45 dB/W/m. Dat is wel heel erg veel voor een 6,5 inch luidspreker. Ik denk dat een SPL van 112 dB @ 1 meter bedoeld wordt. Dan heeft de luidspreker een rendement van 89,5 dB/W/m, welk een reële waarde is voor dit formaat speaker.
