General
When functionality, stability, safety and manageability all need to be combined in one speaker stand, K&M is the company to turn to. The product specifications for this stand will only confirm this.
The stand’s tube features a patented locking system. Release the locking screw (extra protection) and push the button that releases the pin from the extension tube. Adjust the stand to the desired height and simply let the pin slide back in at the right position. Secure the locking screw for additional protection and your speaker can be safely mounted.
K&M have put a lot of thought into how the speakers are mounted on the stand. Nothing is more annoying than the noise that is created by a speaker vibrating on its stand. For this reason, K&M have fitted the top of their stand with a rubber layer, which reduces vibrations in order to keep your sounds pure and unspoilt.
The stand is ultra safe: it has been TÜV-certified to be able to take a load of up to 40 kg, which is more than enough for many active speakers and hefty full-range speakers.

De kwaliteit die je verwacht K&M en een zeer nette prijs. Het vergrendelsysteem is zeer innovatief en de kans dat er pinnen, schroeven of knoppen kwijt kunnen raken is er bijna niet. De knoppen die er opzitten zijn gemaakt van stevig materiaal. Uiteraard samen besteld met de tas, nu is de set eenvoudig mee te nemen.

Degelijk en mooi statief, toch licht in gewicht, gaat lekker hoog en licht in bediening. Heel gemakkelijk vergrendelingssysteem, zeker een aanrader en niet de laatste die ik van dit model heb besteld, Zoals altijd stipte levering door de Bax-shop! Aanrader!

Ik heb gewacht om een review te schrijven totdat ik de statieven voldoende gebruikt heb. Intussen gebruik ik ze 2 jaar en ze zien er nog als nieuw uit. Zelf het grijs dopje bovenaan zit er nog op, wat bij goedkopere merken meteen verdwenen is. Geen gedoe met veiligheidspinnetjes, kortom gebruiksgemak volop! Bij mij staan er de Yamaha DXR 12 of DXR 15 op en dat gaat prima, geen resonantie.
Ik bestel nu ook de K&M draagtassen mee, zodat ik gemakkelijk het onderscheid kan zien tussen deze statieven en m'n lichtstatieven zonder de draagtassen te moeten openen elke keer.
