The DAS Audio Action-S118A Active Subwoofer takes low-frequency audio reproduction to the next level. This bass-bin features an impressive 18 inch 18LX speaker supported by a potent Class-D amplifier with a peak power of 3,200 Watts. In essence, the Action-S118A has been designed to deliver maximum force and minimal distortion, so you can get a continuous output of 1,600 Watts out of it - more than enough to back up professional live PA systems in large-scale venues and at large-scale events. The 35Hz to 125Hz frequency range and maximum 1-metre-SPL of 137dB help shape the deep and ground-shaking basses that are essential for all live music and, thanks to the variable 63Hz to 100Hz low-pass filter, the audio can be accurately tuned to match the space and setup.

Practical Design Features

The robust housing has been built from birch plywood which is protected by a coat of durable ISO-flex paint, kitting out this subwoofer to take on the rigours of stage life, whether it forms part of a fixed installation or a touring rig. Practical features include a set of balanced outputs; stereo-filtered outputs to support satellite systems; and the 'loop thru' connection option, expanding the compatibility and flexibility. The Deep/Loud EQ switch mounted on the rear panel can be flipped to make immediate sound adjustments, while the fitted LED indicators and level controls hand users every necessary tool. The top of the housing has been finished with a distance rod mounting socket, so this sub can be seamlessly integrated into a complete full range DAS system, finishing things off with superior bass support, reliable performance and a full set of flexible configuration options.
