General
The Nova EX315SUB is one mighty active subwoofer that's perfect for use in mobile set-ups and fixed installations alike. It's outfitted with a 15-inch FAITAL PRO woofer and not one, not two but three amplifiers. One of these amps takes care of the low frequencies while simultaneously providing enough power to drive the internal woofer and optionally, an extra passive sub. The other two digital amps power the full-range tops that can be connected to this EX315SUB and a built-in DSP controller allows you tweak a multitude of settings, including the output capacity of any connected tops depending on the load capacity of the satellite speakers.
Nova EX315SUB: Extensive DSP controls
This active sub is the beating heart of your sound installation. On the back, you'll find a small LCD display that keeps you informed about the system. Six buttons can be used to summon various programmes from the four channel DSP processor and via the special Euphoria software, the system can be precisely adjusted and customised further. Use the RS485 connector to hook up the Nova EX315SUB to your computer. There's room for 20 custom presets, so you can prepare yourself for any and all situations. Finally, the Euphoria software also includes a number of equalisers for the inputs and outputs, as well as low-pass filters, high-pass filters, delay and a noise gate.
Application of the Nova EX315SUB
This active sub is considerably compact yet powerful, rendering it well-suitable for mobile use. It's the driving force behind your sound set-up when you and your band hit the road or the perfect companion for DJs looking to combine it with two little tops. Because the internal DSP can be accessed via a local network, this EX315SUB can also be found in fixed installations in clubs, bars, cafés, theatres and conference rooms.
