The Pioneer X-SMC55-S Slim Micro System is a real all-rounder. This modern device, developed by renowned brand Pioneer, can play nearly any media type you can think of. A remarkable feature is the hidden Lightning dock, which folds out when you push the middle panel of this streamlined sound system. Place your iPhone 5, iPod Nano 7G, iPod Touch 5G or higher in the dock and you can play the music on your phone of MP3 player. That is not all, however!
Wireless streaming with the X-SMC55-S
It is also possible to play CDs and, by using the accessory dock, to stream music from older versions of the iPhone and iPod, or even the iPad. If that is not enough for you, the Slim Micro System is equipped with a Wi-Fi antenna as well, which allows you to stream audio via a wireless connection. AirPlay, DLNA and Wireless Direct are supported, among other things. Additionally, a network cable can be connected to the LAN input, or a memory stick can be plugged into the USB port.
An elaborate sound system
The X-SMC55-S features several practical, additional features. If your audio device does not have a modern digital connector, you can always connect its line or headphones output to the 3.5mm input of the Slim Micro System. The system is equipped with an FM radio tuner with RDS and with an Internet radio tuner. The sound can be adjusted by means of the equalizer. Place the sound set wherever you like or mount it on a wall, and control it with the elaborate accessory remote control.
