Quite disappointing even at this price!
The round headphones are not comfortable for lengthy use (90 minutes of football?). But the biggest issue is the 48v phantom powering.
A standard 48v phantom power seems too much for these microphone capsules. I think these have been developed by Behringer for USB computer soundcard applications and not audio mixer applications. Tried contacting Behringer/Music Tribe for advice - but nothing.
I have converted them to 3.5mm jack and put them through a RODE VXLR converter that drops the phantom power down to 5v "plug-in power" - and they work really well!
So even at BAX's great price, if you are looking for sports commentary headsets to work with a standard mixer, buy something else.
