The 5150 III 50S: Three Independent Channels For True Tone Chasers
This full-blooded tube top puts three channels at your disposal; one clean one and two overdrive channels. This means you could use overdrive 1 for your rhythms parts and the second for the solos. Either way, each channel comes with its own EQ, volume and gain controls so any true tone chaser can dial in the specifics they hold dear. A 12AX7 preamp coupled with an American 6L6 power amp thrust that typical Brown Sound out of the amp head and, since there's an extra tube in the preamp, there's even more gain to experiment with.
