Compact tube amp heads are hot! This EVH 5150III 15W LBXII amp head is the second version of the EVH LBX. The first version had only two overdrive channels, but this one has both a clean and an overdrive channel. It's also a lot more versatile than its predecessor. The clean channel goes from crystal-clear to a light, crunchy blues sound. For more gain, go to the next channel, which is capable of producing minimal amounts of gain so you can really fine-tune your sound to perfection. There's no doubt about it—the EVH 5150III 15W LBXII is a versatile amp head that is sure to deliver a colossal sound that would make Eddie van Halen's head spin!

Le son clair : Rond,organique, polyvalent
La disto : moins polyvalente,très High gain mais selon la guitare ça peu radoucir.

Peu importe que vous soyez en 3.5w ou en 15w, que vous mettiez le volume au minimum ou à fond, et bien ça sonne, et même très bien !
Un beau son clair, agréable et brillant. En poussant le gain on atteint un crunch fort sympathique.
Le canal lead est quant à lui puissant, très puissant, car il y a énormément de distortion. C'est tout simplement jouissif.
Cet ampli mettra également toutes vos pédales en valeur, que ce soit une disto en façade ou un delay dans la boucle d'effets par exemple.
En bref, une tête d'ampli qui sonne et qui s'adapte à toutes les situations, je recommande !
