General

The Custom Shop series from Orange represents more than forty years of craftsmanship. The top-quality CS50H tube amp head features the traditional 'Pics Only' panel that uses symbols instead of words. The look is completed with the familiar Orange tolex. For blues and rock guitarists, this is the ultimate 'players' amp. All of the components, including the wiring, are put together by hand making the internals nothing less than a work of art.

Custom Shop 50: Perfection

This one-channel gem is aimed at guitarists looking for the ultimate tone. It's surprisingly versatile thanks to the switchable power. The 30 Watt Class A mode delivers a wonderfully sensitive chime, while in Class A/B mode the mids are more open for a warmer tone with more punch. No matter which mode you use, the characteristic Orange sound is always recognisable. If you love traditional British guitar sounds then the Custom Shop 50 is the Holy Grail.

Dynamic and Practical

The equalizer and gain controls work in perfect harmony to give you everything from smooth to snarly sounds. With the HF Drive, you can fine-tune the upper harmonics. At around 3 o'clock on the dial the HF drive adds negative feedback for a thick overdrive that cuts through any mix. There is also a switchable EQ boost, with an optional footswitch, that allows for a full tone with additional sustain that is perfect for solos.
