General
Delivering a fat two-times 300 Watts at 4 Ohms and 600 Watts at 8 Ohms in bridge mode, the beefy Devine MA-400 was built to form the core of a considerable system. Hook up a pair of your preferred full-range satellite speakers while the built-in safeguards of this solid class-AB amp automatically protect the system from overloading, short-circuiting, or overheating.
The Devine MA-400: Professional Performance
Since this amp is fairly weighty at 10.5kg, it comes fitted with two extra rear rackmounts for secure installation, while integrated vents protected by anti-dust material keeps the unit cool while keeping dust out. Fitted with jack as well as XLR inputs, a pair of locking speaker outputs, and a third central locking speaker output for bridge mode, as well as a set of speaker cable terminals, the hard-working Devine MA-400 amplifier guarantees a professional performance.

Update: By the way, I swapped the fan for a super quiet one usually used for PCs; and while I was at it, I installed an extra board with a shed-load of extra power supply decoupling. Quiet as a mouse now (well almost) and fine in my home studio. (PS Although it was a fairly straightforward job, I am qualified in electronics and so knew what I was doing). So, with my tweeks, 5 stars now. Like others said, great amp for the money.

I just bought this to drive a pair passive speakers for my one-room home studio.
Really good apart from the darned fan noise!
Loud fan noise even when 'idling'.
I'll definitely have to find a remedy for it otherwise it will be of no use to me.

Deze staat nu enkel dagen bij mij thuis. Ben er super tevreden van. Meer dan voldoende power voor mijn behoeften, strak design zonder onnodige toeters en bellen. Prima kwaliteit, degelijke en robuuste afwerking. Zonder geluid hoor je de koeling een beetje. Is echter nooit storend en weet je meteen dat ze werkt. Voor de prijs moet je het ook al niet laten. Absolute aanrader.

Top versterker, zeker voor de prijs. Kan nu beneden de ramen laten trillen op half volumen en de versterker heeft zeker genoeg in huis om een mooi feesie te geven (op 4 ohm rond de 300 watt) heb deze versterker gebruikt voor 4 zelfbouw torens met 2 speakers per toren. Ik heb de speakers in de kasten in serie geschakeld (16 ohm) maar de kasten zelf parrallel((8 ohm)2 torens per uitgang) en dit gaat zeker prima. De ventilator maakt wel een relatief hard geluid maar daar heb je tog geen last van als je muziek luisterd. Ik raad de versterker zeker aan(raad dit merk sowieso aan) en als je kijkt naar andere merken met vergelijkbare versterkers (bvb skytec) kijg je veel meer voor je geld omdat deze daadwerkelijk de voorgeschreven waardes haalt.

Ik heb deze versterker nu een halfjaar.
Het is een prima versterker om mee te beginnen, de prijs is mooi laag en de kwaliteit is ook niet al te slecht. gebruik deze versterker nu om mee te hobbyen en af en toe te draaien. zoals ik al zei de kwaliteit en prijs zijn zeer goed! ik raad dit product zeer zeker aan voor de beginner!

Ik heb deze versterker nu bijna een jaar. ik heb zitten twijfelen tussen de devine d-400 en deze. Tot op heden heb ik geen spijt van mijn keuze. Ik gebruik deze versterker icm de devine trono 12. De versterker levert ruim voldoende vermogen voor deze speakers. De fan maakt wel herrie maar vindt ik niet storend. Hij voelt stevig aan. Hij is wel zwaar dus als je op veel verschillende plaatsen deze versterker wil gebruiken moet je wel veel sjouwen.

Dit is echte een devine product. Een niet al te geweldige versterker voor een lage prijs. Van het geluid mag je niet teveel verwachten maar een goed merk om mee te beginnen.

Ik heb deze versterker nu ongeveer een maand of 3, ik heb nog geen minpunten gevonden. Zeer goede versterker voor de prijs dat je betaald. Ik heb jammergenoeg wel ondervonden dat de bridge output niet werkt met speakon aansluiting ik heb deze als b-stock aangekocht dus bij deze, bax shop test beter de producten voordat je ze terug te koop zet. Anders heb ik nog nooit problemen gehad met bax shop.

Fijn product had de hele set aangeschaft speakers MA 400 met speakerstandkit, had al een mengpaneel eerder aangeschaft, alles bij elkaar een goede koop voor een zacht prijsje. En de geluid vd Divine valt reuze mee, niks mis mee, is een koeler.
