Samson MXP124 MixPad mixer

The Samson MXP124 is an extremely practical and compact mixer from the reliable, affordable MixPad series. It is very extensive when it comes to amplifying vocals/speech and various instruments. The MXP124 contains four microphone inputs (XLR and jack), each of which are supported by an excellent internal microphone preamp. Furthermore, four stereo channels are featured to connect, for instance, a keyboard, CD player or other mono or stereo audio sources.

This unit is really easy to use: connect two active speakers to the master output and your microphones and other devices to the inputs. The professional microphone amplifiers ensure low noise and high headroom, which means that overloading of the input sound (which can be fine-tuned with the gain controls), is not likely. Especially for vocal applications, each microphone channel carries a high-pass filter that neatly suppresses vocal sounds with excessive bass frequencies. The first two channels are provided with a compressor that lets you prevent annoying volume peaks.

Highly complete mixer

With the high-quality faders, you can accurately adjust the output volume of each microphone channel. Furthermore a 3-band equalizer is featured per mic channel, to adjust the sound to the different types of inputs and to the acoustics of the room. If you want to send the entire mix to a recorder, use the RCA outputs. RCA inputs are provided to connect an MP3 player or smartphone, for instance. The MXP124 MixPad is also equipped with a connector for a monitor speaker and headphones, so that you can monitor everything perfectly.
