General

The Apple AirPort Extreme base station is the ideal wireless solution for home, at school and in the office. The AirPort Extreme utilises the innovative 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology and a powerful beam-forming antenna system for a clear, powerful signal. Because it is simultaneously active on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, the base station automatically connects your device to the best available frequency for optimal performance. Besides your Mac computer, the AirPort Extreme can also be used with your Windows system, as well as general Wi-Fi devices such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV.

AirPort Extreme: 802.11ac Wi-Fi-technology and beam-forming

The 802.11ac technology utilises three simultaneous data streams to reach data speeds of up to 1.3 Gbps. That equals three times the speed of the previous standard, 802.11n, making it ideal for wirelessly transporting large files within your local network. Most base stations provide a constant, singular Wi-Fi signal in all directions, but the AirPort Extreme is smarter than that. Thanks to the beam-forming antenna system, any 802.11ac device detected by your network is registered and then the AirPort Extreme directs its signal toward that device. The result is a clearer, faster, more powerful Wi-Fi signal.

Simple configuration

Configuring your new Wi-Fi network is a cinch with the AirPort Extreme, especially considering that both iOS and OS X have simple configuration assistants. Once you've turned the AirPort Extreme on and connected it to your DSL or cable modem, you just have to follow the easy instructions on your iOS device or Mac. Furthermore, the AirPort Extreme also gives you the option of transforming any external USB drive into a safe drive that can be shared via your Wi-Fi network. Sharing documents, videos, photos and other files within your local network has never been easier. You can even connect a printer via the USB port and use it wirelessly.

Apple ME918Z/A AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi base station

Apple ME918Z/A AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi base station

Overal in huis perfect ontvangst.

Apple ME918Z/A AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi base station

Apple ME918Z/A AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi base station

Fantastisch toestel. Heel eenvoudig in gebruik.
Maakt bedraad netwerk bijna overbodig. Zo snel is hij...
Bovendien €30 goedkoper dan elders !
Super van Bax-Shop !

Apple ME918Z/A AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi base station

Werkt zonder probleem.
