Melodyne 4 Studio is the most comprehensive pitch/timing correction edition that innovative software developer Celemony has to offer. In fact, there is probably no other product on the market that allows you to edit audio material as thoroughly as this. It's almost magic - what other software package makes it possible to alter the individual tones in a polyphonic, multi-layered acoustic guitar recording? You can now go in and perfect every off-key or poorly-timed note. This Studio version even allows you to adjust the entire colouration of a track with its advanced overtone editing functionality.
Biggest update ever
Version 4 is the biggest update in Melodyne history. The emphasis lies on the improvements made in the Studio edition in particular. The most notable characteristics are the new Sound Editor, the ability to edit polyphonic material using Direct Note Access on an unlimited number of tracks, and the ultra-accurate tempo recognition and simultaneous multi-track display, which all make for an accessible environment to work on your arrangement. All Melodyne 4 editions have improved tempo and tone detection and the user interface is better than ever.
How Melodyne works
Start by importing one or more audio tracks (vocals, instruments, percussion, etc.) into Melodyne as a stand-alone, or use the program as a plugin in your DAW. The software then detects each tone's pitch, length and volume of the audio track(s) with great accuracy, and presents them in a clear overview. You will immediately be able to see which tones are out of tune or not timed well, and the software can automatically correct them. A big benefit of Melodyne's software is that you can also adjust everything by hand for an even more natural-sounding (or creative) result.

Verreweg het beste in de categorie.
Alleen jammer dat de tutorials van Celemony niet voldoende ingaan op het gebruik als plug in.
Dat zou beter kunnen.
