Combine it with the Camera Fiber Converter, and the Blackmagic Design Studio Fiber Converter bidirectional fibreoptic interface can be set up to transmit over a long distances and connect with broadcast vans and studios, sending audio and visual signals via an SMPTE fibreoptic link. On the back of the Studio Fiber Converter you'll find an SDI port for HD or UHD 4K video and HD return feeds, and for audio sends, a total of balanced XLR ports have been fitted. Next to that, you get a reference input, PTZ and intercom/tally via D-ports, ethernet and SFP-fibre link. To hook up the Camera Fiber Converter, simply use the SMPTE fibreoptic port on the front panel, next to the 5 inch display.
