In 2016, Magix took over Sony's VEGAS series and they've just released the latest version of the video editing software VEGAS Movie Studio 14. It remains extremely easy to use but now it's possible to produce far more impressive videos than before. No matter where you get your footage from, cameras, phones, tablets or even drones, you'll be able to put together a complete video with titles, effects and even add audio or a soundtrack.

New in VEGAS Movie Studio 14

Not only has the user interface been updated, but fans of 4K-resolution will be pleased to know that that's now supported too. The Vignette effect is also new , whichlets you reduce the brightness or saturation at the edges of your image compared to the centre. One of Magix' greatest influences, however, has to be the addition of Music Maker to the VEGAS Movie Studio package. With Music Maker anyone can put together a piece of music to go with their images. You don't even have to be that musical as Music Maker works with building blocks meaning that anyone can do it!
