Showtec releases the Pixel Bar 8 COB, a practical LED bar that simultaneously functions as a beam effect and produces a colourful spectacle. The Pixel Bar 8 COB is provided with 8 powerful 15W LED modules, that produce an enormous haze of light under and angle of 60 degrees.

Technology of the Pixel Bar 8 COB

The Pixel Bar 8 COB has an immense light yield. At full power it has an output of 1,050 lux at 2 metres. Despite this impressive fact, its power consumption is limited: up to 150 watts for the complete armature. The forced convection cooling ensures that no noisy fans are required and the LED display allows you to quickly and easily select the right operating mode for your COB armature.

Use and function

The Pixel Bar 8 COB is a powerful armature and can create great colour chases if programmed correctly. To this end, multiple DMX channel modes are built-in, so that you will have optimal control over its functions with up to 24 DMX channels. With its wide beam angle, it is something between a blinder, a stage beamer and a sun strip and can perform all these functions, as it is clearly powerful and colourful enough to do so!
