General

Finished with a different drumhead on both sides and filled with steel ball bearings, the Pearl PSFM-16 Ocean Drum is able to mimic the sounds of the sea, from subtle ripples to thunderous waves. The goathide drumhead side has a controlled yet warm response, while the synthetic head on the other side unleashes a bigger, more boomy attack. Rotate and tip the drum while striking one of the drumheads to allow the ball bearings to flow back and forth and vary the sound. This edition of the Ocean Drum has a 16 inch diameter and is 2.5 inches deep.
