The Gibson Original Collection 80s Flying V is based on the iconic Gibson model built exclusively in 1984. This ebony-coloured reissue comes without a pickguard, making it look even more rad. The SlimTaper mahogany neck has you racing up-and-down the 22-fret rosewood fretboard, while the freshly-developed Gibson 80s Tribute humbuckers lay down a fat foundation sound backed up by rich sustain. As you might rightly expect, this American-made Flying V comes wrapped up in a matching hardshell case.

Deze Flying V levert precies wat ik nodig heb. De humbuckers klinken agressief en helder, perfect voor metal, punk en rock. Sustain is uitstekend en elk detail voelt stevig en doordacht aan.

De gitaar speelt comfortabel, ook tijdens lange repetities. De koffer is stevig, goed passend en praktisch. Door de V-vorm is zittend spelen lastig, maar staand is hij perfect in balans.

Kortom: een betrouwbare, goed klinkende gitaar die gemaakt is om serieus mee te spelen.
