General

The Cry Baby Classic is the wah pedal with the classic sound from the '60s. Dunlop has equipped the GCB96F with the legendary Italian Fasel inductor to give it that authentic sound, character and feel, just like the original Cry Baby pedals. Compared with the Dunlop GCB-95 Original Cry Baby, the GCB96F offers an even more expressive and dynamic wah sound. From the classic Woodstock Jimi Hendrix sound to those funky 1970s riffs, the Cry Baby Classic is bringing it all back!

GCB95F Cry Baby Classic: classic design with original Fasel inductor

Thanks to the Fasel inductor, you not only get the typical Cry Baby sound, but you also get the same sweep, which refers to the tonal range of the wah effect when you move the pedal back and forth. The range is expansive, and goes from incredibly warm to extremely bright. Just like all Dunlop wah pedals, the GCB96F Cry Baby Classic features a robust die-cast aluminium housing so you can enjoy this reliable pedal for the years to come.

True Bypass wah-wah pedal with Hot Potz potentiometer

The Cry Baby Classic is equipped with a sturdy DPDT switch, making it a True Bypass effect pedal. This means that whenever the pedal isn't activated, you get your original guitar sound without any effect. Additionally, the GCB96F is also equipped with Dunlop's high-quality 100K Hot Potz potentiometer, which has a long lifespan and ensures that you get a clean sound, thanks to the fully closed design.

The Dunlop GCB96F Cry Baby Classic can be powered by a single 9V battery or via the optional Dunlop ECB003 AC adapter. It features a unique battery lid on the bottom which gives you direct access to the battery for quick, easy battery changes.
