Do you always have to stand next to your amplifier in order to adjust its settings? The Line 6 FBV Express MKII foot controller allows you to control your Line 6 amplifier or POD processor remotely. Both your hands'll be free for your guitar! The metal construction of the pedal is rugged enough for the wildest performances. Thanks to its compact size, it fits in any gig bag.
Multifunctional control
The four buttons of the Line 6 FBV Express MKII allow you to recall four presets, or to activate the chromatic tuner, the tap tempo function and more. The expression pedal has a solid feel and offers plenty of grip. One push of the button allows you to switch from volume to wah. Combine it with most Spider IV and Spider Valve MKII amplifiers and you can control additional functions such as Quick Loop, Pitch Glide and Smart Harmony.
USB connectivity
Make the most of your FBV Express MKII with the FBV Control software. This computer program allows you to adjust the MIDI commands that you send via USB. Each button can be assigned to MIDI functions, like parameter and program changes. It is ideal to control popular audio applications, such as Pro Tools, Propellerhead Reason and more. Future software and firmware updates can be downloaded onto your computer and uploaded via USB.
- Please note: the FHB Control Software is not included in the box, but available online via the Line 6 website.

Ik moet het pedaal in combinatie met de pc/laptop nog proberen dus gebruik ik het schakelen tussen 4 patches in één bank.
Wil je andere bank? Dan kan dat handmatig via de pc of met de knop op de Spider.
Het volume/wahpedaal voldoet goed en is ook toe te wijzen aan (helaas) één van sommige effecten op de Spider. Jammer dat je dan geen tweede keus meer met dat pedaal hebt.
De tuner is goed te gebruiken.
Wat ik in de software mis is via instellingen een keuze van een vaste directory op de pc. Als je een geluid opslaat moet je iedere keer naar die map.
Of ik heb het nog niet gevonden...

Effecten zijn gemakkelijk op te roepen.
Je kunt verbinding met de computer maken met de USB poort op het effect pedaal.
Het stemapparaatje op dit pedaal is heel duidelijk.
Levering van Bax is geweldig, goed verpakt en snel geleverd.

De A, B, C en D-knop hebben de betreffende preset (clean/crunch/metal/insane) onder hun pedaalknop.
Op de versterker zijn de presets aan te passen - twee seconden de knop ingedrukt houden (line 6-routine) en een nieuwe preset is gesaved. Lang inhouden en de tuner op de footcontroller is te gebruiken - en bij het tappen van één van de pedaalknoppen is het tempo te regelen. Daarbij is er een volumepedaal gemonteerd, waarbij alle volumemogelijkheden (swell e.d.) uit te voeren zijn. Bij HARD naar de voorkant bewegen van het pedaal verandert het in een WAH-pedaal. Bij nogmaals hard naar de voorkant bewegen, kom je weer in in de VOLUME-setting. Het enige waar ik nog aan moet wennen, is het harde naar de voorkant trappen, dat beheers ik nog niet helemaal, maar dat zal een kwestie van zoeken en gewenning zijn. Deze footcontroller doet alles wat ie moet doen, en nog meer. Voor mij een aanrader!

The quality is above average - its heavier and more solid than it looks in the pictures - although I would not expect this to last long in a gigging environment.

Ik gebruikt de Line 6 FBV enkel als midi-controller voor o.a. Amplitube en Guitar Rig en het werkt prima, gitaar/audio kanaal via send-return naar een midi-kanaal met Amplitube/GR die te bedienen is met de FBV! In de Line 6 software kun je de knoppen en het pedaal toekennen aan gebruikelijke midi-cc's. "Latch en/of switch" van de voet knoppen kun je ook in de software instellen. Het pedaal heeft twee switch standen (vol en wah), deze zijn ook onafhankelijk van elkaar te bedienen via midi. De tuner functie werkt helaas niet via midi.
