Packed up in an ultra-slimline box, the OCT-01 Octo Ozzy polyphonic octaver adds an octave up and an octave down to your guitar sound. Set the octave levels and blend the dry and wet signals at will via a set of clear and intuitive control pots before flipping the mode mini-switch between Top, Both or Bottom to determine whether you want one or both octaves applied to the sound. Weave funk-infused bass lines or spit thick alt-rock-style riffs with the solid help of this true-bypass, aluminium-housed stompbox.

Doet wat 'ie doen moet voor een mooie prijs. Stevige schakelaar en de andere knopjes zijn goed beschermd.

Was best leuk om even te proberen, voor een lage prijs. Het pedaal was echter al redelijk snel defect. :(

Ik had een simpele octaver nodig die zowel een octaaf omlaag als omhoog kon doen. Ik ben best bereid veel uit te geven aan een effect maar dit is voor mij toch iets wat ik maar af en toe denk te gaan gebruiken. Deze Fazzley octaver heeft zelfs nog de mogelijkheid om te kiezen tussen 2 omlaag, 1 omlaag en 1 omhoog of 2 omhoog. En dat voor deze prijs. Het is een blijver, de footswitch is stevig en de priegelknopjes worden netjes beschermd door de beugel. Geen rare bijgeluiden tijdens gebruik, behalve dan dat je met een octaver best vreemde geluiden kan maken. Maar voor een dikke distortion of fuzz en dan één octave op, prima. Of clean met beetje down en up en wat reverb heb je al snel iets wat op een orgel lijkt. Er zit een beetje delay op de octaven en dat geeft samen met het droge signaal een beetje wobbley effect als je clean speelt. Eén octaaf lager voor een distortion en dan een vette metallica riff is dan weer heel vet. Al met al prima ding, maar zelfs een heel dure octaver zou bij mij niet constant aan staan. Nu al een maand in gebruik en ondertussen ook al gebruikt bij een optreden en hij deed precies wat hij moest doen, gewoon heel betrouwbaar.
Zoals altijd, levering van Bax was heel snel.
