General

Controlling light with software is getting more and more popular simply due to the flexibility that software provides. Moreover, software also allows users to easily synchronise light shows with audio or video. Visual Productions have developed a system called Cuety, which can be controlled with a tablet. By combining intelligent software with the multi-touch features of a tablet, you get an incredibly powerful system, making controlling larger lighting installations and easy last-minute adjustments child's play.

Visual Productions Cuety: Flexible and Accessible

Cuety consists of several parts, starting with a DMX interface that connects to a router and links to your tablet via Wi-Fi. The interface provides you with the DMX signal and you can download an app to your tablet to control the interface. Up to 64 fixtures can be controlled with the system, and thanks to the elaborate library with over 3,800 personality files, you can quickly implement most of the fixtures in your light show. The FX generator makes it possible to quickly program a few interesting chases. Should there be an interruption of your Wi-Fi, the LPU-1 keeps working. Pre-programmed shows can also be played via a smartphone that has the Cuety remote app.

Fijn dat je via je tablet je lampen snel en makkelijk kunt bedienen. Is ook voor een beginner goed mee te werken

Goede controller voor kleine shows. In vergelijking tot de budget hardware controllers een zeer aan te bevelen alternatief.

Systeem heeft wel wat reactie vertraging maar is verder niet vervelend.

Grote pluspunt is dat alle shows en cues in de unit opgeslagen worden. Op de iPad heb je dus verder geen files staan.

Programmeren is echt eenvoudig.

Het programma is er ook voor Windows maar helaas niet voor Android. Ernstig puntje!!

Enige wat ik graag zou zien is dat je zelf kan instellen hoeveel vlakken je n beeld ziet. Nu zijn dat er standaard 64.

Voor kleine shows is in mijn geval 8-16 vlakken voldoende. Deze zouden dan dus ook groter kunnen. 64 vlakken op n iPad is redelijk klein.

Verder echt n leuke DMX controller met voldoende opties.

Mijn advies, aanrader voor degene die een iPad hebben

Ik ben zeer tevreden met dit pakket!

Alle opties die ik wil zitten in dit pakket.
Via iPad is alles goed in te stellen en dit maakt je mobiel om de ruimte door te wandelen en veranderingen door te voeren.

Pluspunten:

+Klein, mobiel
+Krachtig
+512 kanalen
+Goede prijs in vergelijking met tafels die hetzelfde kunnen

Minpunten:

- Voor ingestelde 'cirkel' voor moving heads etc lijken soms meer op een vierkant
- Knoppen en faders op de iPad zijn niet heel groot. (niet dat ik er echt last van heb)
- soms reageert een fixture anders dan je zou denken.
je kan deze protocollen zelf eenvoudig aanpassen via de laptop.

Ik hoop dat er ooit nog een optie komt om de show offline te maken
in een virtuele ruimte op de computer.

Zo kan je thuis je optreden voorbereiden en is het op lokatie alleen inprikken en draaien...

Zeer mooi pakket, na wat aanloopproblemen in de software die nu opgelost zijn is dit een zeer stabiel pakket. Al je verlichting besturen met je ipad, geen zware lichttafels meer mee! Perfect voor een de mobile dj!
Vanmiddag bij de cuetydemo bij bax geweest en even de puntjes op de i gezet door een goede uitleg van Mischa Woudenberg! Bedankt bax!
