General

Citadel's Bus Driver is based on the Mix Bus compressors in the well-known SSL mixing consoles. You can choose from many different compression styles ranging from very transparent to highly compressed. This is thanks to the four different controls being compression, makeup, attack, and release and the knobs for ratio, auto release and sidechain high pass filter. The latter reduces bass frequencies ahead of the envelope detector, resulting in a fuller sound. Sound quality is always studio-worthy. Thanks to the LED bar, you can see in detail the amount of gain reduction. The true bypass relay circuit with memory ensures that the pedal remembers the last bypassed or enabled state when switched on.
