Wrote the following about Magic Sing E5 Dual Karaoke System

Ik wilde graag een ‘echte’ karaokemachine waar voor ik niet op zoek hoefde op YouTube naar liedjes. Het aanbod daarvan is beperkt en zo kwam ik op de MagicSing uit. Alleen buitenlandse reviews gevonden en die waren wisselend dus reden om er hier een te plaatsen.

De set kwam mooi binnen in een handige draagtas. Snel geleverd door BAX en de batterijen, kabels en microfoons compleet. Omdat dit apparaat alleen werkt met een wifi verbinding (maakt gebruik van de MagicSing server) in de wifi gehangen en we konden los. Ook zonder abonnement heb je beschikking over iets van 10.000 liedjes dus je kan direct aan de gang. Eenvoudig op de tv aangesloten via HDMI. Mijn surround set hangt achter de tv dus meer kabels waren niet nodig. Gekoppeld met de MagicSingEU app op de smartphone en dat zoekt een stuk makkelijker dan de ouderwetse ringbanden. Zoeken op naam artiest of nummer en je kan ze op je afspeellijst zetten. Zonder abonnement heb je echter niet de beschikking over alle nummers die je in de app ziet dus werkt het haast beter om in de applicatie zelf te zoeken. Handig dat je kan instellen of je de bladmuziek er onder wil zien of de toonhoogte waarop je zou moeten zingen. Ook zonder abonnement werkt dit. Het twee maanden abonnement heb ik via de website geactiveerd en dat werkt prima.

Voordelen
- beschikking over enorme hoeveelheid nummers. Ook best wat recente
- videoke, dus score wordt bijgehouden. Extra uitdaging is altijd leuk
- wordt afgeteld voor de zang en met noten/toonhoogte weet je ook bij onbekende nummers wat er wordt verwacht
- zoeken in de app en ‘naar de MagicSing sturen werkt perfect
- Met abo kun je ook via de app onbeperkt karaoke spelen
- 300.000 nummers (niet nageteld)

Nadelen
- De prijs
- Een abonnement nodig voor onbeperkte toegang
- Geen originele muziek
- Werkt alleen in wifi

Ik heb hem nog niet zo lang en nog geen behoefte gehad om de achtergrondvideo’s of beelden aan te passen wat eenvoudig zou moeten gaan. Ben je benieuwd naar de beschikbare nummers, installeer dan de MagicSingEU app voor een voorproefje.

Ik ben zeker geen zanger maar beleef wel plezier aan zingen. Daarvoor is dit een ideaal apparaat. Ik verwacht hier de komende jaren plezier aan te beleven.
