General

Introduced in 1961, the Casino is one of Epiphone's most popular original semi-acoustic guitars. In fact, it can even be heard on records cut by the Rolling Stones ('Satisfaction') and the Beatles ('Taxman'). Built to deliver all of that tried-and-true tone, this Original Collection model features a pair of Dogear P-90T Classic pickups along with double volume pots, double tone pots and, of course, a good old 3-way pickup switch.

The Original Collection Casino: Clear-and-Tight Sound & Familiar Feel

The core sound of this classic Epiphone guitar stems from an all-maple body bound to a mahogany neck with a SlimTaper D-profile. This heady blend of wood guarantees a clear and tight foundation sound that's rounded off with lightly sweetened trebles to prevent any tonal shrillness. At the same time, the traditional trapeze tailpiece, LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and six vintage-style tuners team up to make sure you don't have to worry about tuning stability, while pearloid parallelogram inlays serve as a classy finishing touch.

A classic guitar for such a great price. This version has the vintage correct and much sought after stained red/walnut brown back and sides. The fully hollow light weight is so comfortable and even unplugged it has s great lively tone. The build quality is fantastic and for the price simply cannot beaten .. it’s easy to see why the Beatles loved them so much.

Deze casino speelt heel vlot en comfortabel. De P90s in combinatie met de hollowbody klinken super! En ze ziet er nog eens super mooi uit!

Ondanks zeer goede reviens heb ik blijkbaar een slecht gekocht. Ontsteking snel, frets moeten nog gevijld worden, 4 snaren kletsen tegen de frets, E en A snaren doen de brug zoemen. Teduur voor wat ze is. Ontgoocheld.
