General

The satisfying steampunk form of the Beetronics Swarm fuzz harmonizer is home to a lush mash-up of fuzz and pitch shifting. Nine harmonic intervals are provided to sculpt a mass of fuzz and modulation variations, so you can shape a pleasant harmonic drone, or an angry, buzzing, and growling fuzz. The sheer scale of unique experimental potential offered by the Swarm is frankly jaw-dropping.

The Beetronics Swarm: Sting Like a Bee

While the overall aesthetic and layout of the Swarm matches the unique sound it's capable of creating, some of the on-theme names of the controls might need a little explaining. The Worker (bee) pot takes care of the fuzz amount; the Species pot toggles through the harmonic interval, while the Queen and Drone pots dial in the volume of the octaves. Two further pots control the modulation intensity, so you can adjust the Sting pot to change the speed and Flight pot to change the response. Simple.

Wrote the following about Beetronics Swarm Fuzz Harmonizer

La finition est superbe, esthétique très réussie.
Un seul réglage pour la fuzz mais suffisamment bien pensé.
Le bouton de volume sur le coté de la pédale n'est pas pratique du tout par contre.
Une pédale qui faut constamment "dompter" : pour les réglages comme pour le jeu. Très déstabilisant.
Pas de son passe-partout, c'est toujours très typée.
Je n'ai toujours bien saisi l'effet des potards flight et sting.
Bien pour des sons à la jack white mais c'est un étalon sauvage, un pédale "rodéo".
