General

American DJ once again storm the market with a powerful fixture. This Dotz Par's secret weapon is its COB light source that is made up of different colours to produce an optimal colour blending. The RGB COB lamp has a power of 36 watts and a beam angle of 60 degrees, making the Dotz Par perfect for wall or background washing.

American DJ Dotz Par: the new standard

This fixture has quite a few options and built-in functions. For instance, the included lens allows you to adjust the beam angle from 60 to 25 degrees, and no fewer than 35 pre-programmed colour macros are supplied for. The dimmer curve can be set to five different settings, and the COB LED light source allows for several strobe and pulse effects. American DJ have raised the bar for light fixtures with the Dotz Par.

Applications

A fixture like the Dotz Par should be usable in numerous situations and settings. As its light is flicker free, the Dotz Par is excellently suited for TV recording or in photo studios. However, let us not forget about pubs and clubs. The Dotz Par can be controlled via DMX or function as a stand-alone device. Additionally, it can be set to respond to the music or be used as a master/slave unit.

Mooie lamp, zeer compact, diepe kleuren, hoge opbrengst, handig en snel in te stellen zowel via DMX als als losse lichtbron. De dubbele beugels en voetjes onder de lamp maken ze zowel hangend en als vloerspot zeer geschikt. Door de compacte ronde vorm ogen ze ook mooi liggend op een stage. Zowel een 220 v euro in- als uitgang: makkelijk door te lussen dus weinig 'snoerenbende'. kortom zeer blij mee

Zeer tevreden over deze lampen.
Heb er inmiddels 8 en ze zijn (voor waar ik ze voro gebruik) super.
Licht van gewicht, breed en smalle afstraling door het filter.
Makkelijk in te stellen, helder licht.

De dubbele ophangbeugel is ideaal om de neer te zetten voor muurbelichting, en pluspunt dat dit er standaard op zit.

Wrote the following about American DJ Dotz Par RGB COB LED

Prachtige LEDs, krachtig, mooie kleuren.
Ik heb er nu 2 gebruikt om een muur van 8 meter breed en 6 meter hoog mee te 'washen', was geen probleem dankzij de brede afstralingshoek van 60° (zonder de lens).
Met de lens krijg je een strakkere bundel van 25° en is dan ideaal voor de mobiele DJ. 4-8 van zo'n exemplaren op een truss en je verlicht makkelijk een zaal van 30x30 meter.

Pluspunten:
-36Watt COB led voor een relatief lage prijs, dus veel lumen per euro :)
-robuust
-keuze tussen 2 afstralingshoeken, snel aan te passen
-leuke sound-activated programma's (fade/change op geluid, handig om te washen zonder DMX
- voor meeste kleuren mooie kleurenmix met erg weinig schaduw

Minpunten
-enkel beetje kleurschaduw bij de kleur geel/amber, maar echt miniem, niks om over te vallen

Kortom; krachtige, stevige LED voor een relatief goede prijs, om mee te washen of als PAR op een truss!
