The DOD OD/PRE 250-X Pedal is the latest evolution of DOD's legendary overdrive/distortion series, designed with industry-leading versatility. With a sturdy aluminium case, this pedal is both road- and studio-proof and weighs just 250 grams. You switch effortlessly between the iconic silicon overdrive sound, rich asymmetrical clipping and transparent boost function with the practical three-position switch. Thanks to the classic Gain and Level controls, you'll quickly find your favourite sound, whether you're looking for light crunch, harmonically rich drive or powerful boost. The 250-X is equipped with true hard-wire bypass, tolerant power supply up to +18V and standard 6.3 mm jack connections. Driven by a vintage LM741 op-amp, this stompbox delivers its classic character, but in a modern, user-friendly package.

This is a really great pedal. It does a bit more than the original because of the switch which subtlety changes the tone. This is one of the best distortion pedals
