General
The Gotoh GE1996T is a high-quality, Floyd Rose® licensed tremolo system known as one of the best versions of the original design. With a robust 33 mm steel block and steel saddles, it offers excellent sustain and tone quality. The 54 mm string spacing and 16-inch saddle radius ensure a comfortable playing experience. Thanks to the smooth tremolo arm, expressive diving flights as well as subtle vibrato effects can be performed effortlessly.
Optimal stability with required mounting parts
For optimal tuning stability, the GE1996T is combined with a locking nut or locking tuners. Gotoh offers several compatible locking nuts, including the FGR-1, FGR-2, GHL-1 and GHL-2. The tremolo system comes with all the necessary mounting parts, including screws, springs, a spring clamp and the tremolo arm. This makes the Gotoh GE1996T a complete and reliable choice for guitarists looking for precision, stability and versatility in their playing.
