Ik gebruik deze mic voor mijn vocoder en is voor live performance geschikt.
Mijn vorige headset ME3 II vangt teveel omgevingsgeluid op.

Ik ben entertainer, toetsenist ( tyros 4) en zing daarbij. Ik bebruik deze head-microfoon nu ongeveer anderhalf jaar en ben er zeer tevreden over. De geluidskwaliteit is voortreffelijk en de hoofdset is heel licht van gewicht. Aangezien de microfoon fantoomvoeding nodig heeft, dient u deze wel op een mixer aan te sluiten. De meeste mixers beschikken over fantoom aansluiting. Helaas beschikt de Yamaha tyros 4 niet over een fantoom- ingang, zodat een mixer een must is. Zelf ben ik zo dom geweest om in eerste instantie een los fantoomvoedingskastje te kopen, omdat ik voor de rest geen mixer nodig heb ( de actieve HK speakers worden direct op de Tyros aangesloten), maar aangezien zo'n fantoomvoedingskastje geen voorversterking heeft en een mixer wel, werd het geluid een fiasco ( veel te zacht). Er zijn een paar kleine minpuntjes te vertellen. Het ( overigens) dunne kabeltje is aan de korte kant, zodat je mixer heel dicht bij het keyboard moet staan en de kabel clips die tegen je hoofd zitten wilden de kabel wel eens loslaten. Dit laatste heb ik opgelost door er met een lijnpistool wat hete lijm in te laten vloeien, waarna het nooit meer heeft losgelaten. Let wel op dat u eerst de lengte goed afstelt ( de microfoon moet goed bij de mond kunnen komen), voordat u lijmt ! De fabrikant vertelt dat het microfoontje zeer klein is en dus bijna niet opvalt. Dat is waar , maar in de praktijk dient u er een ruisfilter overheen te doen, omdat de microfoon zo gevoelig is dat bij het minste gesnuif of hardere ademhaling, dit anders hoorbaar is door de speakers. Overigens beschermt dit filter de mini microfoon daardoor ook tegen vocht ( speeksel).
Deze microfoon is een echte aanrader .
