Zeer goed product! Doet wat het moet doen en heb eigenlijk maar 1 opmerking. Het is jammer dat niet standaard het complete kanalen pakket open staat. Deze moet je extra aanschaffen. Nu is voorlopig 1024 channels wel voldoende maar wellicht in de toekomst niet meer. Bax-shop heeft mij super geholpen! Ik had dit apparaat binnen zeer korte tijd nodig en Bax heeft het vanuit Rotterdam over laten komen naar Goes! Hierdoor heb ik het product zeer snel in gebruik kunnen nemen!

Dit was mijn eerste keer dat ik werk met software om de show te bedienen. Het programma is vrij snel onder de knie te krijgen maar de mogenlijkheden wat je ermee kan doen is echt ongelimiteerd!

Een Edit op mijn vorige review.
Installeren van de software ging niet heel lekker.. maar is wel oplosbaar.
Installeren in de "Program Files" in plaats "Program Files (X86)" lost veel problemen op.
Bij default wil het programma installeren in een eigen directory direct op C maar dat gaat niet lekker.
Windows verwacht daar geen programma's en dus loopt de installatie tegen beperkingen en komen er "toegang geweigerd" meldingen in de installatie log.. met alle gevolgen van dien voor het programma.

Als je eenmaal daar voorbij bent moet je tot slot nog weten dat je altijd in Admin mode moet draaien op het programma te gebruiken. Instellingen van de gebruiker worden op dit moment helaas nog opgeslagen in de "Program Files" folder.. wat eigenlijk raar is voor een windows applicatie.

Kortom, de issues met de software ben ik nu voorbij kan ik nu gaan genieten van de mogelijkheden dat dit mooie stukje hardware biedt. En dat is toch eigenlijk wel super veel. Ik gebruik dit kastje "stand alone" en de software kan waanzinnig veel in de controller programmeren. Vrijwel alle lampen die je maar kan bedenken kent dit systeem. (Ik gebruik de Freedom serie van Chauvet en dat stuur ik aan via D-Fi)

Wat is nu mijn conclusie? Het is echt een goed product en uiteindelijk waar het om gaat doet het gewoon verschrikkelijk goed. De software moet je even weten bij de installatie.. maar daarna kan het genieten wel beginnen! Bij twijfel.. gewoon doen.

Dashlight 5 is laatste versie software dat hoort bij dit product.
De software is duidelijk niet erg goed getest. De installatie wil ergens op C de boel installeren op een locatie die ongewoon is voor windows.
