The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Beam Splitter V2 brings the concept of multi-track guitar recording to your pedalboard. With one input and three different overdrive/distortion circuits, this stompbox offers a unique way to create layered overdriven tones. Each drive has its own character and adjustable volume, with options ranging from hard-clipping distortion, through a light, bright overdrive, to dynamic transistor fire with a touch of fuzz. Two independent delays, featuring time and feedback controls, can be assigned to separate mix channels. On top of that, you can control everything via MIDI and presets, with options for mono, (wide) stereo or even the quirky ‘Trereo’ for a spatial spectacle. Whether you’re looking for a compact crunch or an all-encompassing wall of sound, the Beam Splitter V2 delivers rich, wide-ranging tonal variations without compromising on clarity, and with expressive options such as trails, true bypass and full expression control.
