What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

Photo of the brand new product
Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)

Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

General

Like the holy grail for uke players on a quest for the new sound, the Flight Rock Series Vanguard electric tenor ukulele has an ultra-modern electric guitar style build loaded with two meaty humbuckers and deluxe detailing. The body shaping mimics the exclusive models that come out of Maryland in the USA, so you're treated to gracefully contoured, deep cutaways and an intricately grained flamed maple top with a tasteful, stained finish.

The Flight Vanguard: Adventures in Sound

With this electric four-string, we're presented with a solid-bodied adventure in sound, so you can finally bend, shape and mould your signature uke sound by sticking it through the amplifiers and effect pedals that were previously exclusive to guitarists. Even before you plug it in, the mahogany body lays down a warm and woody sonic foundation, and when amplified, the output is thick and satisfying thanks to the mounted pair of dual-coil pickups. Grab the fitted volume and tone pots and the three-way pickup switch to scroll through a tasty range of clear and bright to round and warm tone.

Play Anywhere

Guitarists making the step over to a ukulele will also feel at home with this electric tenor, from the high-gloss finish of the body to the familiar feel of the neck. The fixed bridge has even been kitted out with four stable and adjustable block saddles that team up with a set of closed oil-bed machine heads and a bone nut to complete solid intonation and tuning. This model also features a zero-fret to guarantee consistent sound whether playing open or fretted strings, and so you can play this uke standing up, it comes equipped with two strap buttons. Pre-wrapped in a gig bag filled with 20mm-thick padding, this Flight offering has definitely been fully prepped for touring life.
