What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

Photo of the brand new product
Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box

State of product:

New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

Can I return a B-stock product?

Yes! Our 30-Day Trial Period also applies to B-stock products.

Do B-stock products come with a warranty?

Yes! Our usual Bax Music warranty also applies to most B-stock products.

General

Epiphone treats Marty Schwartz from the popular YouTube channel Marty Music to his own signature guitar in the form of this ES-335 semi-acoustic with Sixties Cherry finish. Built to meet the seasoned guitar teacher's needs, this stunning thinline archtop hollowbody has been decked out with quality hardware, including Grover 502C Roto-Grip Locking Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and matching stop bar. The Marty Schwartz ES-335 even comes complete with a form-fitting hardshell case.

The Marty Schwartz ES-335: Happy Playing!

The body and top of this Artist Collection model have been carved out of 5-ply layered maple and finished with AAA-grade flamed maple veneer, while the '60s SlimTaper mahogany neck comes with a Rounded C profile. This build results in a super-snug playing feel and a clear foundation sound that can be amplified by the mounted pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers. These versatile pickups are a tad more aggressive-sounding than comparable vintage units and are supported by push/pull tone and volume pots so you can switch to sparkling single-coil-style sound or flip the phase for even more tonal options.
