If you're looking for a lightweight cloth to darken a backdrop and/or make a room look sleek, this one from the ShowDrape Basic Line is what you're looking for. The fabric is made of 100 % cotton and fire-retardant impregnated so you can use it with confidence for simple, but also professional purposes. The fabric darkens well, but is of a lightweight type with its 160 g/m². This makes it an excellent fabric for fixed installation or sporadic mobile applications where you keep control over installation, use and maintenance. Please note that this fabric is not washable because if this fabric gets wet, the fire retardant used to impregnate it will be affected and the fabric will no longer be fire retardant.

Supplied ready to use

The Ayra ShowDrape Basic Line canvases are all supplied in different sizes and come standard with sewn-in webbing, hemmed edges, a neat fabric edge at the bottom and eyelets every 30 cm (inner diameter of eyelet approx. 12 mm). This allows you to hang the cloth right after unpacking! Finally, these cloths are impregnated as standard and are therefore fire-retardant. So you can use them with confidence for professional purposes where you are dealing with a large audience.

Fabric properties

This is basically the same fabric used for roll curtains, but with the Basic Line cloths you have a standard cloth in a fixed height and width, neatly finished at all edges and particularly suitable for hanging installation thanks to the suspension eyelets provided.
