General

The Mastertone OB-2 JM was developed in collaboration with bluegrass banjoist Joe Mullins and brings the distinctive ‘60s bowtie sound into the present day. The mahogany neck and mahogany resonator produce a warm, powerful tone, whilst the rolled brass tone ring and the 3-ply maple hoop tone rim ensure responsiveness and projection. Thanks to the Gotoh planetary tuners, Prucha Presto tailpiece and gold-plated hardware, this is a banjo fit for the stage. Supplied with a case.
