General
Evans offers the synthetic alternative to a calfskin skin. With the same look and feel, but with consistent quality, dimensions and tuning capabilities. The sheet delivers warm, full and rich tones. This is a 16-inch, single-layer sheet of 12 mil thick mylar mixed with unique materials. Can be used as a percussion head, as well as a resonance head.
Tips or comments about this product
- Note: this is the sheet for a 16-inch bass drum, not suitable for a tom due to its thickness.
- In mid-2019, Evans changed the logo on the heads. It used to have 'Level 360' on it, with the new heads this is no longer the case. The sheets with 'Level 360' on them are still in circulation, so you might receive one with or without that text. Otherwise, the sheet is completely the same. All sheets are still delivered in the old box, which will also be replaced at the end of 2019.
