Een klassieker, de Remo Ambassador. Dit enkellaagsvel klinkt vooral helder en is dan ook een prima allround vel. Er zit een duidelijke attack in en de klank is mooi 'open'. In vergelijking met de clear versie lijkt dit vel wat meer gedempt te klinken.
Als je echte power wilt moet je een ander vel kiezen (Remo Emperor of de pinstripe bijvoorbeeld). Tip: plak een Falam Slam of ander soort sticker (of knip een stukje uit een oud vel) waar de klopper het vel raakt. Geeft meer attack en je vel gaat veel langer mee!

Alle Remo vellen zijn goed, dus deze ook. Warmer en droger dan zijn Clear variant, met iets minder attack. Het heeft een mooie ouderwetse sound. Zeer geschikt als zowel slag- als resonantievel op de basdrum.

Klassiek drumvel. Pure kwaliteit, eigenlijk de standaard van de drumvellen. Heeft een goede toon, ideaal voor rock en pop, metal,.. Maar ik gebruik ze ook voor het lichtere werk.

Duurzaamheid en kwaliteit is met de Ambassador voor een kleine prijs beschikbaar. De coated versie ziet er geweldig uit, het geeft je kit een vintage/old skool look.
