General

Vic Firth's wide range also includes concert percussion. The TG26 bass drum mallet has two heads on a single stick, making it possible to drum with one hand. The head is the same size on both sides, giving the roll a consistent sound, allowing you to play the bass drum with one hand and leaving one hand for a suspended cymbal, for example. Collaboration was sought with Tom Gauger for this special stick. This concert percussionist played alongside the person Vic Firth at the Boston Symphony Orchestra for many years.
