The bigger the woofer, the heavier the sound (and the combo!). That is why the Gallien-Krueger MB112-II features a 12-inch woofer; it is the perfect middle ground between a small 10-inch and large 15-inch speaker. It is small enough to keep this bass amplifier compact, yet it has enough bass body. Thanks to a class-D digital power amp, the MB112-II is also light of weight!
Gallien-Krueger MB112-II: widely versatile
Like the other GK bass guitar amplifiers, the second generation of the MB112 features the legendary Gallien-Krueger active 4-band equalizer. Many bass players have named it the most musical and most user-friendly EQ ever. Combine the MB112-II's versatile EQ with the special voicing of the contour function, and you have a bass combo that you can use for a wide range of music and playing styles.
Combo with practical features
The Gallien-Krueger MB112-II combo has an aux input for an MP3 player or smartphone, so you can play along with your favourite music. It even offers a headphone connector for late-night practice sessions. Additionally, there's a DI output with pre/post EQ switch on the back, and a Chain output to connect an optional Gallien-Krueger MBP powered cabinet.
