The Aguilar SL 112 is extremely compact and lightweight yet refuses to compromise on tone. Fitted out with a 12" Neodymium woofer, an adjustable tweeter and a bass reflex port, this speaker cab wields 250 Watts of Aquilar-grade bass sound. This portable bit of kit weighs in at just over 11 kilos and combines vintage style with modern tech.

The Aguilar SL 112: A Surprisingly Powerful 1x12 Cab

The SL 112 is potent enough to take on small gigs and delivers surprisingly deep sound for a 1x12 cabinet — in part thanks to the bass reflex port round back. You can tweak the tweeter volume to inject more sparkle and bite into the sound, and you're free to hook up your amp via the jack inputs or the high-grade Neutrik SpeakOn port.

Ik hoorde dit cabinet bij iemand van wie ik een gitaar kocht en ik was meteen verkocht door de sound. Nu heb ik er zelf een gekocht. De speaker box is niet goedkoop maar is erg licht van gewicht en klinkt gewoon fantastisch.

Set TH350+SL112+kabels gekocht als aanvulling op Eden Metro. De Eden Metro is loeizwaar en ik zocht een draagbaar alternatief zonder aan kwaliteit te hoeven inleveren. De set is super licht, heeft een lekkere punch en goede definitie. Betwijfel of de Eden nog vaak mee mag.
