For those looking for a thick, tight bass sound with plenty of sound pressure, without having to carry too much weight, Gallien-Krueger developed the CX series bass guitar speaker cabinets. These 100% American cabinets are designed specifically for use with the GK MB series amplifier tops. As such, they produce a full, deep sound, yet are surprisingly compact and lightweight.

Heavy sound of the Gallien-Krueger CX 410

The CX 410 has no less than four 10-inch ceramic woofers on board, producing a hefty wall of sound while remaining tight. A knob allows you to choose to activate or leave off the built-in tweeter, making the cabinet broadly applicable in terms of music styles. The CX 410 can load up to 800 watts at 8 ohms. More than enough for many a medium to large stage.

Other features of the speaker cabinet

In terms of connections, the Gallien-Krueger CX 410 offers both a SpeakON and a 6.3 mm jack input. Both are suitable for fullrange signals. Besides an HF horn, the cabinet also features a bass reflex port at the front for more body in the low end. Finally, all CX-series speaker cabinets are of the same width, so you can easily combine and stack them.
