Even though Kirk Hammett isn't known as a bassist, his KHDK Abyss Bass Overdrive is an effects pedal designed for bass guitars. The pedal is well-constructed using only the best materials to ensure it will survive even the wildest of gigs. The sound is top-notch too, of course, retaining the lows with plenty of gain. Unlike most other pedals, the Abyss has two LED indicators on board, giving it a unique appearance.
