Still looking for fine, lightweight mallets suitable for playing timpani dynamically? Then these Rohema TT108 Timpani Mallets are definitely suitable! The mallets have a head of felt, with a core of cork with a 'soft' hardness, for a more subtle impact. The head also has a soft attack due to a two-layer padding. The stick itself is made of "Tonkin", a kind of bamboo which has been made extra sturdy by letting it harden over an open fire. So you get very robust sticks that are still very nice to hold and lightweight!
