This advanced light fixture by American DJ works very well as a light effect, but also has enough power to be used as a blinder. This matrix system houses four rows of 4 COB RGBW LEDs with a power of 30 watts each! Combined with traditional reflectors, the COB LEDs project a highly homogeneous light beam towards the dance floor with very realistic and smooth-blending colours. Link several Dotz Matrixes together and you have an advanced COB LED matrix light panel.

Technology of the American DJ Dotz Matrix

COB LED technology even further enhances the output of LED light sources. Thanks to reflectors, similar to those in traditional Pars and blinders, a humungous light source is created in any desired colour. The RGBW COB LEDs are capable of producing colours such as purple, pink and orange highly accurately. Naturally, the Dotz is equipped with numerous built-in programs, and can be used as a master/slave device or controlled via DMX. Software like Sunlite or Madrix Neo allows you to easily create sophisticated matrix effects.
