The Orange Box Black is a portable Bluetooth speaker from Orange, designed and developed in the United Kingdom by the team behind the brand’s well-known amplifiers. Thanks to the combination of a single 4-inch bass driver and two 2-inch high-frequency drivers, this speaker delivers a full-bodied sound with powerful bass and clear detail. The built-in amplifiers deliver 30 watts RMS for the subwoofer and 10 watts RMS each for the full-range drivers. The distinctive Orange style makes the design instantly recognisable, whilst its compact size makes the speaker ideal for use at home and on the go.
Wireless and wired listening
With Bluetooth 5.0, you can easily connect the Orange Box to a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The speaker supports the aptX, AAC and SBC audio codecs and various Bluetooth profiles, including A2DP and AVRCP. Prefer a wired connection? Then use the 3.5mm aux input and the included aux cable. Please note: once you’re using the aux input, Bluetooth is not available. On the top, you’ll find the controls for volume, bass and treble, so you can adjust the sound to your liking. The Bluetooth button also controls music playback and pause.
