Are you looking for a unique set of bongos? This Latin Percussion LP201AX-2RGM is an excellent choice. It was developed in collaboration with famous percussionist Richie Gajate-Garcia and made out of three layers of Romanian Tilia wood for a full, warm sound. This set is comprised of a 7.25" bongo and a 8.62" bongo and equipped with special cast aluminium bottoms.

Gajate-Garcia is well-known for his performances with some of the best musicians in the world, including Diana Ross and Phil Collins. Together with Latin Percussion, Richie is always on the look-out for new sounds. This bongo set is made of three layers of Romanian Tilia, a special type of wood that has never before been used in a set of bongos.

The hardware on the shells has a chrome finish which contrasts nicely with the dark brown, satin finish. Richie Gajate-Garcia had this colour mixed especially to match the colour of his favourite Puerto Rican drink. Its decorative stripes give it a rustic appearance.
